Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all consulting, custom software development, data analytics, and AI agent engagements provided by Ampersand Consulting Group, Inc. ("Ampersand"). Please read it carefully before engaging our services.
1. Nature of Our Services
Ampersand provides custom software development, milestone-based IT architecture, enterprise data analytics platforms, and specialized AI consulting services. These are bespoke, labor-intensive professional services performed to the specifications of each individual client engagement — not off-the-shelf products.
2. General Non-Refundable Policy
Because our services involve dedicated engineering time, architecture design, and resource allocation from the outset of an engagement, all fees paid to Ampersand are non-refundable once service delivery or milestone execution has begun. This includes, without limitation, discovery work, architecture design, development sprints, data pipeline configuration, and AI agent deployment activities.
3. Milestone-Based Engagements
For engagements structured around defined milestones, fees associated with a milestone become non-refundable once work on that milestone has commenced, regardless of whether the milestone has been fully completed at the time of any cancellation request.
4. Governing Agreements
All project modifications, pause requests, and cancellation terms are governed exclusively by the individual Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW) executed between Ampersand and the client for that specific engagement. Where any provision of this general Refund Policy conflicts with the terms of an executed MSA or SOW, the terms of the MSA or SOW shall control.
5. Pre-Engagement Deposits
Any deposit collected prior to the commencement of work is applied toward the scoped engagement upon kickoff. Deposits are non-refundable once the associated SOW has been executed and resource allocation has begun.
6. Requesting Modifications or Cancellation
Clients seeking to modify scope, pause an engagement, or terminate services early should refer to the termination clauses of their executed MSA or SOW. Requests can be directed to your Ampersand engagement lead or to Alejandro@ampersandagents.com.
